FCap (2)02or over two hundred years our Fletcher ancestors and their families have resided in Cardiff and Glamorgan, South Wales. Their occupations have included coal miner, canal workers and agricultural workers. Their family descendants have spread far and wide. We hope we can reach some of them through this website and form more links to our past.

The intention of the Fletcher Family History Website is to provide a facility for safekeeping our history, a meeting place for Fletchers and Fletcher descendants and to share information. Within this website we aspire to present our history in an interesting and informative fashion. Through this website we will urge other Fletchers to join in our efforts and broaden knowledge of our shared heritage. We aim to celebrate our past and the uniqueness, or 'Sui Generis', of being a Fletcher.

This family history website is forever expanding with new information. We apologise if you are related but do not appear in the family tree. Such is life that we have family responsibilities, other challenges and commitments which sometimes limit our efforts to make timely updates or respond to personal requests for information with speed and efficiency.
